La Verne Pool and Landscape Renovation

Clements Landscape and Pool Construction completely transformed this pool and landscape into a resort like space for relaxing and entertaining. The dilapidated patio cover was replaced by a patio cover that features a gabled, solid roof with an outdoor ceiling fan and lighting, and an open lattice cover that spans the rest of the house. The patio cover posts are grounded by pilasters with stacked stone veneer and concrete caps. A freestanding cover with a lattice pyramid roof behind the pool nestles into a curved seating wall featuring the same veneered pilasters and concrete caps, with contrasting stucco on the wall. After the old concrete and brick decking was removed and a drainage system installed, fresh concrete was poured and given a light broom finish. The pool coping was replaced with poured in place concrete coping with a subtle touch of color, it flows seamlessly into the steps behind the pool up to spa area. The pool was completely updated with new tile, plaster and equipment that is tucked away behind a new masonry wall with stacked stone veneer clad pilasters and stucco to match the house. Border plantings soften the edges and add privacy to this completely renovated outdoor living area.
